Robert, known to his friends as Rob, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 6, 2021. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ronnie and Nora Wooten, moving to Greenville, NC shortly after he was born.

As a child, Robert attended St. James United Methodist Church, where he was baptized and confirmed.

Robert had a love of music and playing the guitar. He also had a love for skateboarding. He was always willing to greet you with a smile. Robert attended JH Rose High School and was working at Sup Dogs at the time of his death.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Wooten; his paternal grandparents Roland and Virginia Wooten; his maternal grandparents Al and Pauline Baker.

He is survived by his father Ronnie Edward Wooten, and wife, Kristie; brother, Stuart Wooten of Greenville; brothers Austin and Aidan Wood of Greenville; Aunts and Uncles, Gail and Brian Edwards of Grifton; Alvin and Kelly Baker of Winterville; and Darryl and LouAnne Baker of Farmville; Great Uncle and Aunt William E. “Bud” and Barbara Wooten of Winterville, as well as other family, friends and co-workers.

Anyone wishing to pay respects may do so at Farmville Funeral Home, between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, Friday, February 12, 2021. There will be no viewing. The family will be having a private graveside service on Monday.
