Matthew Patrick Wilson was born on, 22 July 1977 to Patricia Marie Gilligan and Bernard 'Skip' Gary Wilson in Morristown, New Jersey. He was one of three children born: Carrie Beth, Matthew Patrick and Kevin Joseph. He and his family moved to the Manassas, Virginia are where he worked for the Manassas City Fire Department. Matthew had one child, Addison Rose. He was cremated and his remains are buried in the Place of Peace Columbarium at the Cemetery of the Monastery of Saint Benedict, Benedictine Sisters of Virginia, where his mother will join him.
