Moe passed away Jan. 26, 2021. She was born in Quantico, Virginia in 1956. She moved to Vista in 1961, she graduated from Vista High School in 1974. She attended Palomar College from 1975-1976. She married Scott Cook in 1980. She worked at Peppertree Frosty, Glendale Federal Bank in Vista. She also worked as a dealer at Harrah's Casino for 13 years. After she left Harrah's she returned to work at Starbucks as a barista. She loved her customers and Starbucks family. Moe love to sew and was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband, Scott; dog, Vinnie; sister, Kathy McKnerney; brother, Charles McAleer III; best friends Jim and Shelly Weis; 5 sister-in-laws; 3 brother-in-laws; 6 nephews; 4 nieces; 3 great-nephews and 6 great-nieces. Moe truly loved life and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Moe is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emilia; in-laws, Bud and Hoagie and brother-in-law, Wes.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association (San Diego Chapter) or P.A.W.S.Alhiser-Comer Mortuary is handling arrangments.
