She was born August 12, 1942 in Harrisburg, PA to the late William Redmon and Norma Jean (Underwood) Kennedy. She married Nelson L. Kiser Sr., they divorced and he survives in Minnesota. She married Kennard B. Miller Jr. and he is deceased and then married LeRoy “Roy” Walters who passed away February 8, 2020.
Surviving is a son, Robert C. (Jeanette) Kiser, Washington; daughter, Laurie A. (Celestin) Bombolong, Fostoria; grandchildren, Hannah (Carl) Kamerrer, Aaron Kiser, Jeremy Kiser, Tyler Kiser, Kevin J. (Melanie) Meddles II and Ciara Meddles; and numerous great-grandchildren; special nephew, Daniel (Shannon) Kiser; and her chihuahua “Mbolo”. She was also preceded in death by son, Nelson L. Kiser Jr.; and a daughter, Ramonda Kiser.
Kathy was a retired LPN having worked at area nursing homes. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Risingsun. She had a generous heart, loving, kind and a great sense of humor. She loved animals, hummingbirds, and she enjoyed playing scrabble and the bunco club with her friends.
Private family graveside services will take place at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg with Pastor Melissa Hart presiding. A public celebration of life service will be held later this summer.
