On May 22, 1998, MELISSA VIRGINIA TOWNSEND (nee Dize), Christian Woman, Wife of the late Charles F. Holmes, Sr.; mother of Charles F. Holmes, Jr., grandmother of the late Charles F. Holmes, III. She was the youngest of the late Margaret Virginia and Theodore Wesley Dize, of Smith Island, MD. Mrs. Holmes is survived by her son, Charles F. Holmes, Jr., a brother, Daniel Austin Dize, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 3331 Brehms lane, (at Mannasota & Erdman avenues), on Sunday and Monday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where Services will be held on Tuesday May 26, at 2 p.m. Interment at Baltimore Cemetery, 2500 E. North avenue.
