JENKINS, June Meadows, 88, died February 17, 2021, as a result of pulmonary complications. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Eugene P. Jenkins; and grandson, Frederick M. Swope IV. She was the only child of Audrey Hill and William B. Meadows. She committed her life to raising her children and later held several part-time jobs, including DMV and Virginia State Police. She is survived by her four children, Gregory Jenkins (Leslie), Kimberly Swope, Jeffrey Jenkins and Kelly Horner (Robert). She was "GeeGee" to her eight grandchildren, Corey Riddle, Audrey Jenkins, John "Jack" Swope, Landry, William and Henry Horner and Justin and Wesley Jenkins; and a great-granddaughter, Auburn Riddle. She also leaves behind her best friend and adopted family member, Bonnie Crowder. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, February 22, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 9600 Midlothian Tnpk., Chesterfield, Va. 23235
