Mildred Chambers, age 85, passed away February 15, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She was born June 18, 1935 in Illinois, daughter of the late John Hutchison and Betty Stokes Hutchison. She had worked as a Registered Nurse before retiring.
She was married to Charles “Winks” Chambers, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one sister, Lois Chambers of Anniston; one grandson, Matthew Dylan (Jill) Chambers of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and one great-grandson, Rome Chambers.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Stephen Chambers; one daughter, Cindy Carol Chambers Clark; five brothers, Frank Hutchison, Wallace Hutchison, Howard Hutchison, Marvin Hutchison, and Rollie Hutchison; and one sister, Nadine Moore.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 22, from 11:oo a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Missouri, with Bro. Martin Lucas officiating.
Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery at Anniston, Missouri.
