Diane was a remarkable, extraordinary, and phenomenal woman. These are a few words to describe Ms. Phyllis DIANE Campbell, referred to as Diane.

Inclusively Diane was a Mother, daughter, homemaker, provider, sister, auntie, and friend. These are the many roles Diane performed during her sixty-four years of life.

Diane was the third child born to Mandzay and Thelma Wright. They produced two incredible daughters and two terrific sons.

It was a Friday, in Lubbock, Texas, the sixth day of the week, and the fourth day of the month. The temperature grew to 85°. This is the average warmth for Lubbock in the last stages of spring. Mandzay was trying to keep Thelma cool as she had gone into labor. Will it be a daughter or another son? Either or would be acceptable a healthy baby is an answer to their prayers on the 4th day of May 1956.

At last, the appointed time arrived. Finally, a beautiful baby girl, so lovely Mandzay and Thelma, couldn't resist naming their new daughter Phyllis Diane. To this union, four children were born.

Diane retired from Pinnacol Insurance after twenty-three years of service. This allowed her time to tend to her houseplants, flowerbeds, and garden. Diane, on occasion, would knit, crochet, and even draw. Moreover, Diane would read her favorite authors, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and D.C. Andrews. She would even watch Family Feud, Bernie Mac, or the Lifetime Movie Chanel.
