Elizabeth L. Farmer, age 82 of Columbus, GA, passed away January 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Catherine Nix. Elizabeth is survived by her loving spouse of 65 years, Clyde J. Farmer; her four children, Catherine Keith (Otis), Lynn Giles (Paul), Carolyn Smith (Gene), and James Farmer (Leeann). Mrs. Farmer has 9 grandchildren, Toni Covington (Richard), Emily Faires (Allen), Valeri Schaefer (Calvin), Danny Farmer, Paula Winter (David), Brian Keith, Michael Farmer (Emily), Calli Smith, Patrick Smith; and 12 great-grandchildren, Brandy, Aiden, Colin, Justin, Nathan, Dayton, Jordan, Liberty, Neala, Piper, Phoenix, and Ashton. Mrs. Farmer is also survived by her sisters, Juanita Shepard and Cynthia Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Farmer was a loving housewife who proudly received her GED, in her later years. Mrs. Farmer was an avid bowler in lifetime and was a total bingo fanatic. She loved to crochet and has an extensive book collection. Mrs. Farmer traveled extensively, with her husband, during his military career. Clyde and Elizabeth were extremely devoted to one another till the end of her days.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
