Leslie P. Watson, Jr, age 67, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Thursday February 18, 2021 at his home.

He was born August 1, 1953 in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Leslie Paul, Sr and Nola Christine (Oakley) Watson. On April 10, 2010 he was united in marriage to Starlett Ward who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Shannon Watson of Longview, Missouri; one sister, Hope Leonard of Cassville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Connor East, Cash Eversol and Shooter Eversol; one niece, Christina Terry and one nephew, Leslie Leonard.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a baby sister, Christina.

Leslie grew up and received his education in Cassville, Missouri graduating from Cassville High School. He was employed at FASCO as a die cast operator. Some of his favorite pastimes were going to the coffee shop and visiting with friends and driving around to see the beauty of this area. The Ride For Life was very important to him. Leslie was of the Baptist faith and attended Mission Baptist Church in Washburn, Missouri.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Dayton Brattin will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Leslie.
