Springfield, IL—Barbara J. "Barbie" Hamilton, 63 of Springfield, died on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Peoria, IL.
She was born on January 4, 1958, in Ottawa, IL to Benjamin, Sr. and Seferina Jarigese. She married Dennis F. Hamilton after being together for over thirty years on October 7, 2016 and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2019.
Also preceding her in death is her father, Benjamin, Sr.; one brother, Benjamin Jarigese, Jr. and one sister, Ann Marie Miller.
Barbie is survived by her mother, Seferina Jarigese; three children, Jill, Joe (Dianna) and Jeanne; three step-children, Shawn, Lisa and Brian; fourteen grandchildren, Madison, Makinsey, Brandon, Devon, Josh, Carson, Mason, Sierra, Mollie, Brianna, Madalynn, Malorie, Sophia, and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Ellie, Charlie and Jaxon; one brother, Michael (Debbie) Jarigese; one sister, Carol (Mario) Corona and several nieces and nephews.
Barbie worked as a Mexologist for over thirty years at Parkway Pub, retiring in June of 2019 and she had a wonderful family there.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
