Ms. Phyllis Young, age 74, of Benson passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Lakeshore Pentecostal Holiness Church of Dunn. Officiating the service will be Rev. Chris Brown and Rev. Ed Norris. Interment will follow in the Erwin Memorial Park Cemetery in Erwin.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service.
Survivors of Ms. Young include her daughter; Angela Parrish and husband Renzie III of Benson, son; Daren Young of Benson, grandchildren; Kyle Parrish, Kely Parrish and Kaitlyn Young, sister; Shirley Symmonds of Erwin; Janice Johnson of Erwin; brothers; Edwin Stone of Wilmington; Christopher of Michigan.
Ms. Young was preceded in death by her husband; Gerald Lavon Young, parents; Gilbert Edgar Stone and Mary Buffkin Stone, sister; Barbara Ellen Smith
