Kevin James McIntyre, age 56 died at his home in Brockton. Kevin was born in Upper Darby, PA. He is the son of the late James Joseph McIntyre and Eileen Weiss McIntyre. The family’s roots originated in Philadelphia, PA. As a young family they lived in Syracuse, NY, and Richmond, VA before moving to Brockton, MA in November 1969.

Kevin attended Brockton public schools. He went to the Gilmore elementary school, South Junior High School and he was a graduate of Brockton High School. He was a member of St. Margaret's parish.

Kevin was a Master Mechanic. He worked for the Carey bus company and Ryder Truck companies before being recruited by a Parker Avenue neighbor to work at UPS. Kevin joined United Parcel Service as a mechanic in 1989 and had a 29-year career with UPS. He spent his career at UPS working his way up from a Mechanic to a Plant Maintenance Engineer. He worked at the Watertown, Brockton, and Norwood UPS facilities. Kevin was a Shop Steward for 10+ years and he was proud and active member of the Machinist Union, Local 447.

Kevin is survived by his wife Maureen and a stepson Robbie Andrews and his wife Kristi of East Bridgewater and their three children, Olivia, Jackson, Reese, and goddaughter Kelsey Kourafas. The children called Kevin Gagi and Kevin adored them. Kevin is also survived by his mother, Eileen of West Bridgewater and his sister Laura of North Easton. As well as an uncle in Florida and his aunt and godmother Helen McIntyre and her family in Oxford, PA. There is a large extended family in the Philadelphia and south New Jersey area.

Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte.123) Brockton followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish . Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
