Linda Stewart age 65, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her daughters home in Cadiz, KY.

Linda Stewart was born in Owenton, KY on June 11, 1955 to Stonewall J. Alexander and Evelyn Young Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Alexander Stewart, Jr. and brother, Gerald Alexander. Linda was a production seamstress for Fruit of the Loom; a supervisor for Ichikoh and retired product handler from Buffalo Trace Distillery. She enjoyed fishing, kayaking, cycling, walking, dancing, foraging for berries, and fitness.

She is survived by her daughter, Wilinda Ward (Jason), Cadiz, KY; her brother: Darrell Alexander (Linda), Owenton, KY; her sister: Marilyn Kay Dixon, Florence, KY; her two grandchildren, Ryan Keith Ward (Rachel), Henderson, KY and Hunter Alexander Ward, Henderson, KY; and her great granddaughter, Raelyn Ward, Henderson, KY.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Saturday, February 27, 2021, from Noon to 1 pm. A celebration of Life will follow at 1pm with burial in the Owenton Cemetery
