Kenneth Elbert Davidson Sr., on February 3, 2021 went into the arms of Jesus, Our Lord at the age of 80.

A private grave side service was held Monday, February 8th. at Wesley United Methodist Church in Hampstead, Maryland. The Service was officiated by Ken's brother-in-law, Donald Wheeler.

Ken was born May 3, 1940 to Norville and Edith Davidson, of Hampstead, Maryland.

Ken worked as a mechanic on farm machinery and tractors at Widerman-Reichlin Inc. and as the service manager for Reichlin Inc. Ken also worked for C.J. Miller and White Pine Construction companies.

Ken enjoyed life on his small farm with his wife, Rena in Millers, Maryland. Ken built the house and barn with help from his family. He raised steers and draft horses. Ken used his draft horses to pull potato plows, wagons, and a sleigh. He enjoyed hosting many years of fall hayrides for his family and especially his grandchildren whom he loved and enjoyed spending time with immensely.

Ken was a born again Christian and an active member of his church, holding leadership positions as Sunday School Superintendent, Treasurer, and Youth Fellowship leader. Ken volunteered to serve on mission trips and disaster relief aid trip through the church.

Ken's other interest included gardening, hunting, fishing, wood carving, and flying planes. He also was proud of being a private pilot. Ken landed his plane into the backyard on Lineboro Road, Manchester home, where he rebuilt his Cessna172 and flew it back out months later. Ken had a knack for inventing, building and fixing almost anything.

Ken had a love for dogs and all animals to include, Herby, his Turkey that would follow him around the farm, his draft horses and the steers he raised for many years for market.

Ken has 10 grandchildren; Ryan and wife Jessica, Jacquelyn and husband Mark, Elizabeth, Bradley and Wife McKenna, Bryce, Lindsey, Holly, Christian, Caroline, Shay and 3 great grandchildren, Finn, Thomas, and Mika.

Ken was survived by his wife, Rena of 60 years, until February 16, 2021. He is survived by three sons and their families; son, Kenneth, daughter-in-law, Jennifer, son, Thomas, daughter-in-law, Karen, son, Darrell and daughter-in-law, Cara. In addition, sister, Janet Wheeler, and Brother-in-law, Donald Wheeler and close family friend, Lisa and several step brothers and sisters.

In addition, Ken was preceded in death by his father, Norville Davidson, mother, Edith Davidson and step-mother, Mary Rill, sister, Audrey Johnson and brother- in- law, Wesley Johnson.
