Devin Lopez Rodgers, Jr., age 28, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Nashville. Devin was born in Nashville on October 12, 1992 to Shana (Murphy) Reed and Devin Rodgers, Sr.
Devin enjoyed playing football, basketball, as well as many other recreational sports. He can be remembered as a young man with a great heart and someone who was willing to do whatever he could to help anyone that needed it. He loved his four children as well as all his family. He cherished the life that he was blessed with.
Devin is survived by three daughters, Avayah, Unique, and Kylar; one son, Devion; his mother and stepfather, Shana Reed and Joseph; his father and stepmother, Devin Rodgers, Sr. and Kimberley; one sister, Desiree Rodgers; two brothers, Brandon Williams and Sean Lynch; his girlfriend, Donequa Lyons; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Murphy; his paternal grandparents, Robert & Betty Rodgers. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12 noon until 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
