Mr. Robert “Arnold” McIntyre , age 63, of Griffin, passed away, Thursday, December 17, 2020.

Arnold was born in East Point on Tuesday, March 19, 1957, to the late Robert Frank McIntyre and the late June West McIntyre.

He was a Master Mason and a member of Yaarab Shrine and Henry County Shrine Club. Arnold retired after 42 years as a lead aircraft mechanic for Delta.

He was a loving father and grandfather, who impacted everyone he came in contact with. Arnold was an avid duck hunter, and a member of Mallard Landing Duck Club in Arkansas, along with this his faithful companions, Bear, Rock and Sky (awesome duck hunting dogs). He enjoyed life and traveling around the world including multiple trips to the Australia Outback.

He is survived by children and their spouses, Chase Wheeles and Jacee, and Sommer Robinson and Josh; grandchildren, Wilder, Kynzie, Scarlett, and Aspen; siblings, Donna Kent, Pat Hensler and Ronnie; nieces and nephews, Holly and Brian, Hunter and Emily, Garrett.

A visitation will be Sunday, December 20, 2020, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 am with Masonic Rites in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home with Reverend Steven Norris officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted and or donations can be made to Yaarab Shrine in honor of Arnold McIntyre, designated for the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 400 Ponce De Leon Atlanta, Georgia 30308.
