Michael Scott Warner was born December 3,1952 in Waverly, New York to Ronald Bruce Warner and Dolores Arlene Warner (Whyte) and passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2021 in Dallas, Texas.

Michael graduated from SRU High School in East Smithfield, PA, and after he joined the United States Marines. Michael lived a full life that took him from a small-town boy from Wellsburg, NY to Florida and then spending most of his life living in Texas.

Michael was very proud of his two children, Somone Ann Warner, and Ronald Lee Warner (and his grandkids, Whisper and Hunter). Michael treasured his long-time friend and companion, Elisa Alford. Michael treasured his long-time friend and companion, Elisa Alford. Michael was thankful for the many friendships at the Veterans Affairs and his church. He attended church regularly and read scripture often.

Michael is survived by Somone, Ron, his brother Mark Arthur Warner (Debbie and nephew, Jarrod), and his sisters, Yvonne Marie Quintana (Robert and nephew, Christopher Douglas, and nieces, Jennifer and Alayna Quintana), Kathy Rae Morgenstern (niece, Danielle O’Connor and nephews, Marc Rawlings and Ryan Morgenstern) and Michelene Ann Warner (Anthony Dimas). Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Millie, and his parents.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Michael will be cremated, and his ashes scattered in Texas and Colorado. A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held virtually with a small group of family and friends. Memorial donations can be made online at veteransoath.org
