Mrs. Evelyn Kelley, age 88, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Dallas, Georgia). Mrs. Kelley was born on April 13, 1932 in Paulding County, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Grover (Myrtle Florene) Watts. She was married to Mr. Charles Eugene Kelley for many years prior to his passing in 1995. Prior to retiring, she worked as a seamstress for Malbon.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mr. Charles Kelley; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover (Myrtle) Hulsey; her sisters, Jean Davidson, Hazel Hicks and Mary Turner and her brothers, Bill Hulsey and Dean Hulsey.
Mrs. Kelley is survived by her daughter, Linda Kinnin; her son, Wayne Kelley (Janie); her grandchildren, Chad Kelley, Whitney Simpson (Dave), Cheyenne Kelley, Dakota Kelley, Kaley McBrayer (Josh) and Jamie Kinnin; her great grandchildren, Harrison McBrayer, Reed McBrayer, Maci Simpson, Rylee Kelley, and Addison Kelley and her sisters, Mattie Henslee, Virginia Gin Adams and Bessie Henslee.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn Kelley will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Vermon Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Foundation.
