Mrs. Audra Oswalt Martin, 43, died suddenly of a heart attack at noon Tuesday in her home at 306 Whitlock Ave.

She was born on August 5, 1917, to John Franklin Oswalt and Ella Ethelenne (White) Oswalt.

She graduated from New Market High School in 1935.

On June 11, 1938, she married James Everett Martin. For a number of years, she worked as a nurses' aide at Culver Hospital. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Margaret Ann, and a son, Michael Dean Oswalt, at home; another daughter, Mrs. Claren Sue Stull, Rt. 7, and her father, who now lives in Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by her mother in February 1960.

She is interred in the Memory Garden mausoleum section of the North Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Michael Dean Oswalt was born on October 22, 1935. Michael has resided with his grandparents John Franklin Oswalt and Ella Ethelenne White.

Mr. and Mrs, John Oswalt announce the marriage of their daughter, Audra, to Everett Martin of Rockville, Ind. The ceremony was performed June 11 by the Reverend H. Brown, pastor of the Baptist Church at Sidell, Illinois. Mr. Martin is employed at Hoopeston, Ill.

Sister of Clair V. Oswalt. Her brother died at the age of 13 in a drowning accident (boat upset) in Sugar Creek near the Davis high iron bridge, three miles southeast of Alamo in Montgomery County, Indiana. He is buried near his grandparents, John Wesley and Eliza Jane Masterson Oswalt at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
