David S. Bradley, 63, of Beatrice, formerly of Ellis, died Wednesday afternoon, February 17, 2021 at a Lincoln hospital. He was born on November 20, 1957 at Beatrice, attended Beatrice Public Schools, and served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1976. Dave married Carol Mencl on February 13, 1985 in Beatrice. He was a welder and worked in construction for many years. David was a member of the Ellis United Methodist Church and enjoyed Harley motorcycles, collecting eagles, being outdoors, and especially being with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bradley of Beatrice; daughter, Tianna Bradley and her finance Colton Snook of Beatrice and their three children, Jaron, Lachlan and Emma; son, Brian Rathman of Lincoln and his son, Austin; father, Clarence Bradley of Beatrice; sister, LuAnn (Larry) Mozer of Beatrice; father-in-law, Elmer Mencl; sister-in-law, Sherry (Jeff) Cullison; aunts and uncles, Beverly Hartwig, Doris Luckeroth, Melody (Grant) Hoyle, Teresa (David) O’Connor, Phyllis Fielder, and Rena Fielder; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Fielder) Bradley; his mother-in-law, Edith Mencl; uncles, Gene Fielder, Ron Fielder, Don Luckeroth, Virgil Cody, Raymond Saathoff, Harold Bradley, and Marvin Hartwig; aunts, Patricia Cody, Delores Bradley, and Marilyn Saathoff.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing. A register book will be available on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from noon until 6:00 P.M. at the Fox Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
