Ronald Lee Harvey, Greenwood, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was born May 31, 1947 in Boone, Iowa a son of George Harvey and Carolyn Steffy.

Ronald loved and served his country in the United Sates Air Force from 1966 to 1970 and was stationed in Spain during the Viet Nam War. He was a Fire Protection Specialist and received three Special Act Awards during his time of service. Upon discharge, he continued to serve his country by working for the federal government in mail distribution at Fort Harrison for over 15 years before retiring. Ronald was known for his kindness and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his former spouse, Kathy Reed; his children, Misti Clark and Mathew Harvey; his brother, George Harvey; his sisters, Pamela Rumler and Vicki-Darrell Morgan; his grandchildren, Ciera Perkins, Alec Perkins, Madison Harvey and Shane Harvey; his great-granddaughter, Amelia Martz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by a great-grandson, Noah Harvey.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Forest lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road, Greenwood. Inurnment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.

For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family has suggested those be offered to the Riley Hospital for Children.
