Virginia M. Hamilton, 83, of Centerville, died February 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 25, 1937, in Mill Village, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mildred (Lorei) Gilson and the wife of the late Burnell Hamilton.

Virginia was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Our Lady of Fatima Chapel. She was the owner operator of Lowell and Sons Meat Processing.

Survivors include a son, Mark Hamilton of Centerville; a sister, Mary Lou McMillen and husband, Don of Blooming Valley; a brother, Robert Gilson of Little Cooley; Sisters-in-law, Phyllis Steves and Barbara Moe; nieces and nephews, William, DeWayne, Robert, Priscilla, Russell, Matthew, Darla, Karen, Trisha, and John and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David; a brother, John Gilson and a sister-in-law, Lena Gilson.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday at Our Lady of Fatima Chapel from 10 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11 a.m.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the wearing of masks and social distancing will be required.

Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Teresa Church.

Interment will be in Rootville Cemetery.
