Jennifer Lee Forrest, age 42, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away unexpectedly on Sun., Aug. 20, 2017, in Hot Springs, Ark. She was born Sept. 18, 1974, in Fort Smith, Ark. the only child of James and Martha Shelton Forrest.

Jennifer grew up in Fort Smith, Ark. and graduated from Southside High School in 1992. She studied journalism at Arkansas Tech, proudly following in her father's footsteps. She was an accomplished graphic designer and worked for Today Magazine, Benton Co. Daily Record, and Citiscapes Magazine, and also operated an online business in used book sales, and later, an Etsy invitation store. She was a diehard Razorback fan, accomplished tailgater, and a stauch, loving friend and confidant, making friends wherever she went.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her long-term partner, Chris Alley, cat Sooie, uncles Ricky and Frank Shelton, and cousins Cathy Gammill, Amy Little, Laurie Cooper, and Neal, Allison, and Elizabeth Shelton. Jennifer will also be remembered by countless friends.
