Martha was born and raised in Frostburg. Martha, the daughter of the late Howard and Alma Holtzman, also of Frostburg, was born April 3, 1938, and was a Beall High graduate, Class of 1956. Preceded in death are sisters, Geraldine Walls, Alma Jean Driscoll and Erma Loera Thompson; brothers, Edward and Howard Holtzman; brothers-in-law, Bud Driscoll, William Cuthbertson and Roland Thompson.
Surviving her are husband of 64 years, Harold Baker, of Frostburg; son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law, Mary Baker, of Rochester, N.Y.; daughter, Kimberly and son-in-law, Gary Johnson, of Cumberland; sister, Juanita Michaels and brother-in-law, Ralph Michaels, of Gainesville, Fla.; and sister, Virginia Cuthbertson, of Frostburg; grandchildren, Jason, Kyle and Emily Baker, Rochester, Brandon Johnson, Cumberland; great-grandchildren, Jayde and Melody Johnson, of Cumberland, Bryce and Phoebe Baker, Rochester; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Funeral service for Martha will be held Sunday, Feb. 21,2021, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Sowers Funeral Home.
Martha will be laid to rest at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
