Phyllis Marie Robinson Vaughan peacefully passed away on February 15, 2021 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Phyllis is now at peace and with the love of her life Leonard. Phyllis was born to G A Robinson and Kathryn Lulu Waters Robinson on March 16,1936 in Delhi, Oklahoma. She attended Delhi High School and graduated in May of 1954. Phyllis then went on to attend Oklahoma State University and upon graduation went to work for the oil industry. She worked for many years for Mustang Oil, Getty Oil and Mobile Oil. She met her husband Leonard Vaughan while they were both working temporarily in Michigan. Leonard and Phyllis married in May1970. Upon their retirements they enjoyed time together researching and completing the genealogy for all the family until his death in August 2003. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters and brother-in-laws Pat and Jack Norrell, Virginia(Ginger) and Jim Chandler, Stepsons Stephen, Guy Lynn and Kenneth Lee. Phyllis is survived by sister Gloria Stevens and husband Don, OKC, brother Allen Robinson, Sayre OK, step son Paul of Missouri and his children Melissa and Zachary, Steve’s children Heather and Chris. Other family members to include nephew Jack Norrell and wife Ronda and their daughter Kalyn, niece Monica Scott and husband Brian and their daughters Melissa and Samantha. Niece Lynn Smejdir and niece Karen Ferguson. Special family friend Colleen Stevens who helped so very much for many years.
