Pastor Charles Lindsey Holland, 79, of Hendersonville, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Pardee Hospital.

A native of Durham, NC, he was the son of the late Roy Preston Holland and Catherine Georgia Ramsey Holland. He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Essie Daniels and Jessie Blackwell.

Charles graduated Durham High School in 1959 and later attended Blue Ridge Community College. Over the years he had several careers; retail shoes and jewelry and was a Special Education Teacher’s Assistant at Henderson County Public Schools. Charles was a Pastor from 1969 until his death; and was currently the Pastor of Living Faith Family Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn Potts Holland; a daughter, Mary Frances Holland of Tulsa, OK; two sons, Charles Jennings Holland and his wife Lisa T. Holland of Arden, and Christopher Todd Holland and his wife Vicki J. Holland of Indianapolis, IN; fifteen grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Rebecca, Benjamin, Rachel, Sara, Gok, Carly, Jacob, Carter, Ashley, Claire, Jacob, Destiny, and Preston; seven great-grandchildren, Maddox, Mani, Lily, Lia, Joshua, Caleb, and Matthew; a brother, Samuel P. Holland of North Wilkesboro, NC, a cousin Susan Keith; our precious “Teresa Marie”; and all of his nieces, nephews, and family members too numerous to name.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Dr. Chris Holland and Rev. Gary M. Chandler will officiate.
