David Hillis Bruce, age 78 of Griffin passed away, January 4, 2021 at Brightmoor Hospice.
David was born September 6, 1942 in Adairsville, Georgia. His parents, Emmett and Liddie Izettia Smith Bruce preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a retired truck driver from American Ramp.
Survivors include, his wife of 53 years, Faye Bruce; daughter, Debra Turner and husband, Randy; son, Derrick Hill Bruce; grandchildren, Jacob Turner, Justin Turner, Desiree Turner, Bailey Bruce, Cheynne Bruce; 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 1:40 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
