Margaret "Meg" Villane, 89, of Gulf Breeze passed away at Gulf Breeze Hospital on October 18, 2007. She was born in Milford, NH on December 8, 1917 to Andrew and Jesse Young and had resided in Gulf Breeze since 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Villane; her daughter-in-law, Betty Anne Villane; seven brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her sons, Paul Villane of Gulf Breeze and David (Sherill) Villane of Navarre; and her daughter, Jane (Keith) Haney of Hanford, CA; one sister, Jane Langdell of Milford, NH; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Although "retired" when she moved here, she quickly got involved and began working at the Santa Rosa Tax Collectors office where she became a mainstay and developed numerous life-long friendships until she "retired" again in 1989. Since then she remained very active in gardening in her yard, visiting with friends, and enjoying her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren's activities with her indomitable spirit that she passed on to all.
