Harry L. Lawrence, 71, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Noon in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Dziadual officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami FL 33131.

Harry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Wilson Smith and Myrtle Harper Lawrence.

He was a graduate of Lanier High School and served his country in the United States National Guard.

Harry was retired as a Sergeant with the Bibb County Sherriff's Department.

He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed fishing, watching football and working on his cars. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jackson Lawrence of Lizella, children, Amy (Zach) Taylor of Gordon, Jason (Lori) Lawrence of Pine Mountain, four grandchildren, Kendall and Daniel Ward and Lara and Jacob Lawrence.
