Rachel Rader, Mapleton, died on her 73rd birthday Monday at Mapleton Community Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St John's Lutheran Church, Mapleton, the Rev. Fred Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Decoria Cemetery. Visitation will be at Tichenor Funeral Home, Mapleton, from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Rachel DeRemer was born Aug 2, 1903, in Medo Township. She married George Rader on Oct 13, 1923, in Mankato.
Survivors include her husband; on son, James of Burnsville; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Lola) Johnston, Mrs. Donald (Emily) Minkel and Mrs. Loren (Ruth) Cummings, all of Mapleton; one sister, Mrs. Walter (Ethel) Rader, Pemberton; two brothers, Hallie DeRemer, Mankato, and Aaron DeRemer, Mapleton; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
