Funeral services for Arturo Z. Lopez, 68, of East Bernard, Texas, will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Hernandez Funeral Home, 800 Fourth Street in Rosenberg. Burial will follow at San Francisco Cemetery in East Bernard, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hernandez Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.


Mr. Lopez was born March 3, 1952 in Brownsville, Texas and he passed away February 12, 2021 in Richmond, Texas. 


He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Ines Lopez; his wife, Rosa Lopez; his brother, Jesus Lopez.


He is survived by his children, Justin Lopez, Jessie Reyes, Martin Reyes, Ashley Gonzalez, Guadalupe Reyes; his brothers, Rolando Lopez, Pablo Lopez, Pete Lopez, and Juan Lopez; his sister, Maria Yolanda Banuet; 2 grandchildren; as well as other loving family members and friends.


"We are limited to (20) number of guests at all times of service, we do request that everyone in attendance continue to practice social distances and masks are required at all times. Children are required to be seated with parents at all times."
