Elnora Powell Austin

Funeral services for Mrs. Elnora Powell Austin, age 85, of Winona, were held September 30, 2002 at Oliver Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Jones officiating and Rev. Albert Britt assisting. Burial was held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Austin died on September 28, 2002 at Kilmichael Hospital. She was a retired inspector for Windon Mfg. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Shelley of Winona; her son, David Austin of Winona; her sister Frances Johnson of Greenwood; and three granqchildren.

Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Austin.

Pallbearers were Thomas Donahoo, Dennis Donahoo, Kermit Austin, Wilson Johnson, Ed Jefcoat, Curtis Laney and Willie Paul Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers were Vernon "Dick" Austin, Rodney Minyard and Joe Evans.
