Major Robert C. Bright, 86, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in Pinewood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Robert lived most of his life in Pitt County, mostly in the Falkland area. He graduated from Belvoir Falkland High School. He then attended East Carolina University where he received two master degrees. Robert retired from the Marine Corp. after 21 years of service.
Robert loved traveling. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his: loving wife of 60 years, Connie Bright; sons, Robert Bright, Jr. , and James William (Crystal); granddaughters, Callie & Ella Bright; and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
