Berkeley - Carol Ann Casey died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was 82. Born in Jersey City, she resided there for most of her life before settling in the Holiday City community of Berkeley in 2001. Prior to retiring, Carol was a Secretary for the City of Jersey City, where she worked for her entire career. Carol was an active member of her community. She was involved in the community aerobics, a bocce team captain, the Italian-American Club, and a Red Hat Lady. Carol also enjoyed community bus trips and went on many excursions to Atlantic City. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gerard, in 1994. Surviving are her children: Linda Fazzi and her husband John, Michael Casey and his wife, Donna, and Karen DeMaio and her husband Joe; 8 grandchildren: Nicole, Joseph, Matthew, Mark, Lea, Megan, Sean, and Erin; and a great-granddaughter, Brielle. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington
