James "Jimmy" Collier, 76, of Paducah died Monday, October 5, 2020 at his residence. Jimmy was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He loved his kids, camping, fishing, movies and country music. Many people in the Paducah area may remember him from being a DJ on radio station WDXR in Paducah.

He is survived by his sons, Jimmy L. Collier of Paducah, Daniel Wayne Collier of Paducah, and Michael J. (Tracy) Collier of Paducah; his daughters, LaQuita Leigh (Monty) Morehead of Gilbertsville, KY and LaRonda Gail Story of Farley; one brother, David Lee (Johnnie) Collier of Paducah; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sonia A. Collier and his parents, Daniel C. and Mamie Collier.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 9, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
