Completed her earthly mission at age 80 while convalescing from surgery. Born in Hagerman, Idaho. Daughter of James and Cora Lake Haynes. Early life spend in Idaho and Montana. Honored to be first WAVE to join the U.S. Navy from Montana. Served in Washington D. C. at the Naval Comm. Station. Worked on computer that broke the German code. Married Ferdinard T. Johnson May 15, 1945 in the Navy Chapel. Marriage solemnized in the Cardston Alberta, Canada Temple. Moved to Utah in 1958 with their four children. Served two terms in the Utah State House of Representatives. Active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Willing to serve the Lord and her fellow man.

Survived by husband Ferdinand Johnny, sister Marie Haynes and children Jacqueline Jackie Nicholl (Gordon), Vicki Pounders (Dudley), Craig Haynes (Rhonda), Ginger Kae Evans (Tom), eight grandchildren, a great grandchild. Predeceased by sisters Virginia Haynes and Gertrude Monte Goodsell.
