Thomas Edward Dougherty, most recently of Irvine, passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 78 after a courageous fourteen year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Tom was born in Philadelphia on July 20, 1942, and was raised in the Drexel Hill area. He graduated from Drexel University and went on to a long and successful career in the bearing industry. Alzheimer’s forced his retirement in 2006.
Tom is survived by his wife, Cleo Dougherty, and his children Colleen and Brian Dougherty, their mother Dolores Dougherty, his brother Richard Dougherty, his sister Elaine Craig, and their families.
