Shirley Ann Rhyne Richardson, age 83, of Cookeville, TN passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical, Cookeville, TN.
Mrs. Richardson was born October 5, 1937 the daughter of Marshall and Lucy Ray Rhyne.
Shirley loved to cook and was known for her oyster stew, meatloaf, and chicken and dumplings. She enjoyed listening to country music. Most of all, Shirley loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Irone "Rick" Richardson, Jr.; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by son; Irone Lee Richardson III and wife Rhonda of Darlington, SC; Daughter, Pam Blackard and husband Tod of Summerville, SC; son, Michael Richardson and wife Jami of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Amanda, Jeff, Austin, Hali and husband Gary, Josh, Nichole; great grandchildren, Mckenzie, Laila; and sister, Evalene Alexander.
Shirley will lie in repose on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Forks of Little River Baptist Church Cemetery, 2356 Okeeweemee-Star Rd., Troy, with Mike Thompson officiating.
