Her father Felix Turvaville died in 1905, after his death her mother Jessie married William James {Bill} Penna. He raised Celestia and her brother Hosey B. Turvaville.
Her grandparents were ; Jasper V. Turvaville & Mary Ann (polly) Kilgore Turvaville and Zachariah Marion Crow & Mary Permelia Hunt Crow.
She was also survior by grandchildren.
