Retired Registered Nurse Was Clifton Forge Resident
Mildred (Millie) Huffman Meadows Robinson, age 92, of 505 Brussels Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11:10 a.m. in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.

She passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Mrs. Robinson was born October 18, 1928 in Fayette County, West Virginia, daughter of the late John F. Huffman and Emma Woolwine Huffman.

She was a retired Registered Nurse who graduated from Raleigh General Hospital School of Nursing in Beckley, WV.

After moving to Virginia, she worked at the Chesapeake and Ohio Hospital, Clifton Forge and Alleghany Memorial Hospital, Covington.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William F. "Enemo" Meadows, Jr. and her second husband, Frank L. Robinson, Sr.; a stillborn daughter, infant girl Meadows; three sisters, Imogene H. Dolin, Frances H. Wikle, and Josephine (Betty) H. Anderson; and four brothers, George O. Huffman, Dallas F. Huffman, and twin brothers, Donald C. Huffman and Ronald J. Huffman.

She is survived by a son, Richard Alan "Ricky" Meadows and wife, Marilynne of Iron Gate; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Meadows of Clifton Forge; a step son, Frank L. "Butch" Robinson and wife, Dreama of the Sharon area, Clifton Forge; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Bill Hartsfield officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

A private interment will take place later in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will be present at Nicely Funeral Home on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
