HENDERSON- Frances Ann Flynn Hall, 81, of Spring Valley Lake Road, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her home. Born in New Milford, PA on December 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Edward T. Flynn and Ella Marie Shafer Flynn and was the widow of James Axam Hall, Jr. Frances was retired after having worked for Systems Manufacturing, Penny Furniture Company, Woodruff Trucking and Hall’s Garage. She was a former member of the James B. White Chapter of the Eastern Star. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM by Rev. Linwood Jarrell in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens. She is survived by two daughters, Louella H. Smith and husband, Thomas C. Smith of Henderson, and Elizabeth H. Bunch and husband, Raymond E. Bunch of Washington Township, Ohio; one son, James A. Hall, IV and wife Sherry of Oxford; nine grandchildren, Cole A. Smith (Samantha Roberson), Amanda S. Clary, Cody R. Smith (Ashley), Nick Cenci (Jayme Ross), Samantha B. Ravana (John), Anthony R. Bunch (Aleshia), James A. Hall, V (Annette), Timothy O. Hall and Clay A. Hall; fourteen great grandchildren, Mary Samara, Alexander, Aurora, David, Gabriel, Evan, Ethaniel, Belladonna, Adrianna, Carli, Brinley, Addison, Chad and Phelan. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Freya P. Smith and five siblings. Serving as active pallbearers will be Cole A. Smith, Cody R. Smith, James A. Hall, V, Christopher Abbott, Thomas F. Clary and Brandon DeZarn. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Timothy O. Hall, Clay A. Hall and William D. Stancil. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday at J.M. White Funeral Home beginning at 9:30 AM and at other times at home of Louella Smith, 1751 Spring Valley Lake Road, Henderson, NC 27537. Attendees at the service are asked to wear an appropriate face covering and practice social distancing.
