Mother Carol Gene Smith Graham received her wings of glory on September 17, 2020.

She was born October 23, 1948, to the late Elizabeth Smith and the late Colman Richardson of Miami, Florida. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and remained a long-standing active member in the Primitive Baptist faith throughout her life. She began her journey at Greater Israel Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Miami Florida, she moved to Tallahassee, Florida, and joined St. Mary Primitive Baptist Church, later she moved to Ocala, Florida, joining Glorious Hope Primitive Baptist Church, then Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church, Eustis, Florida, and finally St. Hawthorne Primitive Baptist Church in Ocala. She held the following offices and affiliations: Eastern Star, Church Secretary, Choir Member, Mother/Deaconess Board, East Florida Women’s Congress, and Financial Secretary for 5th Sunday Union.

She was educated in the Miami-Dade Public School System and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in the class of 1967. In the early 1970s, Carol desired to work in the medical billing and accounting field which she received specialized training. She passionately served twenty years in the career of Medical Billing and also became the Office Manager, until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: A devoted and loving husband, Willie Graham, Jr., Brothers: Sylvester (Zip) Smith and Calvin Richardson. Sisters: Collette Barbara Corley, Linda Dixon, Rose Richardson, Paulette Jackson, Patricia Lewis deceased), and Annie Mae McCraney, all of Miami, FL. Step Children: Cheryl Brown, Reggie Graham, and Linda (deceased). De-voted Sister/Friend Wanda (Richard) Smith, Godmother Edith Allen of Miami, God Brothers Damon, Reggie, & Henry. Godchildren: Lori Hadley-Davis, April Pitts, Kidada Jefferson, Christa Ingram, Tamira Horn, & Camila Casaway, along with a host of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Sorrowing Friends, and Loving Church Family.
