Diane will be remembered for her love and giving to others anyway she could. She especially loved her grandchildren, they gave her so much joy in life.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Mayes; son, Jason (Lakin) Childers, stepson, William Mayes; daughter, Brittany Anderson; step-daughter, Lynzi Mayes; brother, Leon (Mary Lee Counts) Meeks; sister, Joanne (Terry) Childers; grandchildren, Karlee, Kaylee, LeeAnna, Hillary, Bralen, Maleigha, Kenzyleigh and Addison; great grandchildren, Asher, Mason and Pasilee; several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no public service at this time.
A graveside service for the immediate family will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at the Winton Cemetery in Pelham, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
