Gail Lynn Hall, 63, of Robinson, IL, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born December 3, 1957, in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Franklin & Jeanette (Reynolds) Kamplain. She grew up in Florida and Oblong before moving back home, graduating from Robinson High School in 1976. On August 6, 1976, she married Steven Hall, and their love blossomed into a family of five as they welcomed Jeremy, Jamie, and Jessica into the world. By all accounts, her family brought life to her living, and each member became a vital part of who she was. She cherished each precious moment with them and always put their needs before her own.

In 1993, she started working on the floor at Wal-Mart, beginning a 27-year partnership alongside her many cherished co-workers. It didn't take long before she was able to work her way up to cashier and was a kind, familiar face to countless area patrons. Away from work, Gail could often be found outside. The owner of an undeniable green thumb, she found both peace and fulfillment in tending to her garden. She was also known to enjoy grilling outdoors and could grill up the most delicious marinated pork steaks you'd ever have the chance to enjoy! In fact, she was an ace in the kitchen and loved making taco bake, blackberry cobbler, and fried chicken, fish, and even turtle for her loved ones.

They will remember Gail as a woman who found joy in the simple things. She was always present to the moment, and within each moment, Gail found life...a life that, with all of its ups and downs, is good. We who are left behind to mourn her passing would do well to follow her example by slowing down and living life to the full. This, alongside her undying love, will serve as her legacy that will live on in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her best friend and husband of 44 years, Steven Hall; by her children & their spouses, Jeremy & Christina Hall, Jamie & Jonathon Goff, and Jessica & Jesse Parish; by her grandchildren, Faith Hall, Zach Hall, Noah Burris, Madilynn Goff, Preston Goff, Levi Kleinschmidt, Drake Kleinschmidt, Dalton Parish, and Isaiah Parish; by her mother-in-law, Virginia Hall; by her sisters, Louise Melton and Naydene Sandifer; by her brother, Ron Kamplain; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin & Jeanette Kamplain; by her father-in-law, Wilbur Hall; by her sisters, Rosie Dorney and Loretta Tracy; and by her brother, Earl Kamplain.

Gail will be laid to rest in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Palestine.
