Margaret Mary (nee Sullivan) Paul, 51, of 970 River Road, New Milford, NJ suddenly died on Sunday, July 5, 1959. After her son was exonerated from an investigation of a presumed homicidal murder, authorities found no suspects and concluded she died from a brain hemorrhage due to head injuries in her bathtub. She was a beautician at Anton's Beauty Shop in Oradell. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Nelson Philip, and her parents Dennis Joseph and Helen (nee Donovan) Sullivan. Devoted mother of Edward Paul. Sister of Catherine Van Wettering, John and Thomas Sullivan. Funeral from the Volk Funeral Home, 101 East Main Street, Bogota, NJ on Wednesday, July 8, 1959 at 9:30 AM. Thence to the Church of the Ascension, 256 Azalea Drive, New Milford, where a solemn high requiem mass will be offered at 10 AM. Interment following at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. Members of the Rosary Society of Church of the Ascension in New Milford, will meet at the Volk Funeral Home in Bogota to recite the Rosary for Margaret Paul.
