She was born June 26, 1947 in Chambersburg, Pa. to George and Esther (Wright) Knouse. She was a member of Salem United Brethren Church. She worked for the county as a Tax Claim Specialist. She enjoyed traveling and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis M. Scott, who she married Oct. 14, 1967. They have two daughters; Penni L. (wife of Elwood) Strait of Fayetteville, Pa. and Tisha M. (wife of Scott) Smith of Chambersburg. Carole has two grandchildren; Max Strait and Josi Smith. She is also survived by her mother Esther Wright Knouse and her two brothers; Larry Knouse of Shippensburg and Jeffrey Knouse of Chambersburg.
