Richard Eugene "Sparky" Sparks, 72 of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on February 3, 2021. He was born December 9, 1948 in Seymour, Indiana to Myron Eugene and Elizabeth Ann Beldon Sparks. He graduated from Seymour High School in 1967 and attended Indiana Central until he came home due to his father's illness. He married Patricia "Trish" Ann Norfrey on April 21, 1976 in Seymour. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who was dedicated to his family. During his time in Seymour, he was active in the Elks Lodge and the Jaycees. He worked for his family business, Beldon Insurance Agency in Seymour for over 30 years and spent the last 10 years as a very successful salesman at Bedford Ford. He never met a stranger. He loved people. He spent many years coaching sports in Seymour and loved his players like his own. He loved all things sports, especially his Indiana Hoosiers and New York Yankees. Rick loved spending time with his family. His favorite past time was being with his wife watching anything his kids and grandkids were involved in. He will always be our biggest fan.
