Ann was a native of Calypso. She had worked at Burlington Industries, Mt. Olive Pickle Company, and at Belk-Tyler's, but more importantly, she was a wonderful help mate to her husband, the Rev. Lamarr Jackson, as they served seven churches in their 41 years of ministry with the N.C. Conference of Pentecostal Holiness Churches.
Ann is survived by her husband, Lamarr, of the home; two sons and their wives, Loren and Sonya Jackson of Goldsboro, and Michael and Misty Jackson of Brevard; five grandchildren, Steven, Kevin, Brandon, Kristen, Cody, and Taylor Jackson (along with her fiance, Grant Pierce); a sister, Mary Walker of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death b a son, Steve Lamarr "Stevie" Jackson, Jr.; her parents, Kearny and Lela Lee Rivenbark; and six brothers, Elwood, Dan, Jimmy, Ronnie, Bobby, and Billy Rivenbark.
A worship service to celebrate Ann and her life will be Thursday, February 18, at 6 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Jeff Dail, followed by visitation. Burial will be Friday, February 19, at 11 a.m. in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
