Edward A. Williamson, 79, of Granby, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 3 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. He had worked as a project manager for the Congel Pyramid Companies, building shopping malls, and Central City Roofing. Ed owned and operated E. A. Williamson Roofing in Syracuse and Grey Oaks Farm where he trained and boarded horses. He served as town of Granby Supervisor for ten years completing his term on December 31, 2017. Ed was the chairman of the Lake Neatahwanta Revitalization Project and a former member of the Granby Center United Methodist Church.

The son of the late, Edward and Elsie Holmes Williamson, he was predeceased by two half brothers, James and George Little.
Surviving are his sisters, Cynthia (Lou) Castaldo of Oswego, Claudia (Ron) Prior of Oswego and Jennifer (Dave) Malone of Hannibal; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 9 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street in Fulton. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
